Improvement in window operation can be achieved by repairing or replacing parts from the window frame such as locking keeps, stays and hinges, gaskets and seals, guides and run-up blocks etc.

Repairs to the aluminium window sash can include replacing or fine-tuning locks and mechanisms, window handles and hinges, gaskets and seals, mis-handling devices and restrictors.

Misted and broken double glazed glass units can be replaced and most glass coatings or tints can be matched.

One of the most common aluminium window repairs we carry out is the realignment of the window vent or opener to prevent it from catching on the outer frame of the window. This is achieved by “toe and heeling” the double glazed glass unit, essentially creating an invisible brace diagonally from the bottom hinge corner and in the process lifting the window sash.
